Brazilian V8 Supercar drive🐟r Max Wilson has made a rapid return to the Australian series after being dump uncermoniously at the end of last year by Team Betta Electrical, and will take over driving duties this weekend in Tony Longhurst's newly liveried WOW Team Dynamic Commodore.

"I am ෴very excited with the offer from Tony, we firs♛t met at Briggs Motorsport back in my introductory year to the V8's in 2002 and we have remained friends ever since," said Wilson of his new berth.

"This will be an exciting weekend ♔not only for me as a driver, but also for the new 'WOW Sight & Sound' sponsored team, I'm very much looking forward to getting behind the whee🥂l of the Holden Commodore and the team have done a great job on the cars preparation.

Wilson ꦏnow becomes a Holden driver, just like his team-mate from last season, Paul Radisich. Both were told their services were no longer required at the Triple Eight squad, although Wilson's loss of seat came very late in the day when he was replaced for 2005 by Steve Ellery.

"This is a very demanding race across two days and requires total concentratio𒊎n as well as pace for the duration of each of the two races, hopefully the teꦦmperature on the weekend will be a little kinder to us this year," said Wilson of the Clipsal event.

"Although I haven't driven the car before, I will ha𓄧ve both practice sessions and qualifying tomorrow 💝in which to settle into the car and I really don't have any problem with changing makes as a professional driver."

Licence holder Ton💯y Longhurst was equally optimistic. "It's great to have Max on board for this race, he has shown he has the speed when 🌠required and he certainly qualifies very well, we just need to convert his efforts into a podium finish on the day."

"The car is superb, and with our new sponsors "WOW Sight & Sound on board everyt🎃hing is looking very promising fo𓃲r this opening round," said Longhurst.
