Kazuki Nakajima kept Toyota Gazoo Racing at the head of the timesheets in second pract𝔉ice for the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Fuji on Friday afternoon, finishing o꧟ver a second clear of the non-hybrid LMP1 runners.

After seeing co-driver Sebastien Buemi☂ lead the way in FP1 behind the wheel of the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, Nakajima took his turn at the head of the field in the afternoon session, setting a fastest lap time of 1m25.623s.

The effort was good enough to give Nakajima top spot by 1.4 second💦s from Rebellion Racing's Norman Nato, who again emergedജ as the closest challenger to the lead Toyota - albeit trailing by a greater margin than the 0.2 seconds he was behind in FP1.

Team LNT's pair of Ginetta LMP1 cars slotted into P3 and P4 respectively, with the #7 Toyota not setting a representative lap time, leaving it down in fifth place. Jose Maria Lopez's best♚ effort was over 2.5 seconds slower than tha𒅌t of Nakajima.

Anthony Davidson li💛fted Jota to the front of the pack in LMP2 through second practice, finishing half a second clear of morning pace-setter Kenta Yamashita of High Class Racing. Phil Hanson took third place for United Autosports after dropping four-hundredths of a second back from Yamashita's time.

Porsche continued to lead the way in GTE-Pro, but could not replicate its one-two finish from the morning session. Michael Christe🦩nsen led the way in the #92 Porsche 911 RSR, edging out AF Corse's James Calado by just 0.051 seconds. The sister #91 Porsche wound up third-fastest, one-tenth of a second off the top time.

TF Sport managed to lead the way once again in GTE-Am with the #90 Aston Martin Vantage, finishing almost two-tenths of a second clear of Team Project 1'ꦺs #56 Porsche 911 RSR. Aston Martin Racing's factory GTE-Am entry took third in class.
