Toyota reveals updated TS050 Hybrid LMP1 car for new WEC season
Toyota has revealed its updated TS050 LMP1 car ahead of the new FIA World Endurance Championship 'super season' a🍰s it bids to capture its maiden victory at the 24 H꧙ours of Le Mans in June.
As part of Toyota's official 2018 motorsport programme announcement made 𒁏on Thursday, the Japanese manufacturer released an initial image of its updated LMP1 car🐽, with the existing TS050 model being retained for a third season after debuting in 2016.

As part of Toyota's official 2018 motorsport programme annou🅘ncement made on Thursday, the Japanese manufacturer ღreleased an initial image of its updated LMP1 car, with the existing TS050 model being retained for a third season after debuting in 2016.
The new car has a slightly tweaked livery, incorporating more red into the design, and will be the only manufacturer-entered LMP1 chass🥃is in the WEC through the 2018/༒19 'super season' following Porsche's departure at the end of last year.
Toyota will once again e🦩nter two cars to fight for𝔉 overall honours in LMP1 against a raft of new privateer teams, with two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso replacing Anthony Davidson in its full-season line-up.
The updated TS050 Hybrid has already completed ext🐈ensive on-track testing over the winter ahead of the new WEC season, which starts on May 6 🐓at Spa in Belgium.
