The future of speedway racing 🔯at Wimbledon Stadium, one of the sports legendary venues, has been safeguarded for the next three years, following the agreement of a new lease between the Stadium landlords, the Greyhound Racing Association and the Directors of Wimbledon Speedway PLC.

Next season sees the Londoners rejoin the Conference League, speedways third di💫vision, and after the disappointment of finishing at the foot of the table in 2002, hopes are high that the Dons will mount a title challenge when the season kicks off in March.

With the famous Dons now secure in 💜their plush ⛄Plough Lane surroundings, Wimbledon PLC Director Paul Coppin paid tribute to the GRA for all their support over the past seven months.

"♚Without the constant support and enthusiasm of Mick Hardy, Arthur Deveraux and his colleagues at Wimbledon Stadium, our efforts last June to resurrect the Dons𓆉 would have come to nothing," he said.

"Both the Board of Wimbledon Speedway PLC and the GRA remain fullꦯy committed to restoring the Dons to their rightful position as 💟one of the premier speedway clubs in the world." concluded Coppin.
