Wimbledon appoints new commercial manager.
Wimbledon Speedway have announced the immediate appointment of Mick Hooker as its new commercia൩l manager.
Hooker has a wide knowledge of the speedway world, including many years at Speedway Star magazine. ꦑHis appo🍷intment completes the management team as the Dons move towards the opening meeting in May 2002.
"We are delighted to have someone of Mick's calibre and experience on board, and are confident that we can attract the support of local and national companies, to what is one of the best venues for speedway in the world," co-promoter Steve 𒅌Ribbons commented.
