Oxford Cheetah Todd Wiltshire has completed one of the sport's most remarkable comebacks b🐻y being named in the Australian team that will contest this year's FIM ASL Freight Movements Speedway World Cup🥂.

And fellow Cheetah, Czech Ales Dryml, ꦆwill cap his cou🅺ntry in the same competition.

Only the winners of the two qu🌄alifying groups will qualify directly to the final that will be held at Reading on Saturday July 22nd whilst the second and third placed countries in those groups will contest a 'race off' for the two remaining ꦐplaces in that final, again at Reading on Thursday 20th July.

Todd has been called up to the side that will ride for the "Land Down Under" in Event 1 of the competition in Rybnik, Poland on 16th July 2006 where they will face defending champions Poland, Team GB and Finland. He adds real strength to their line-up which includes World Champion-elect Jason Crump, Swindon's Leigh Adams, Peterborough's Rya🧸n Sullivan and Coventry's Rory Schlein who makes his World Cup debut.

Meanwhile Ales Dryml will lead the Czech Republic side, which also includes his younger brother Lukas, into battle in the second qualifying meeting that takes place at Malilla in SWEDEN on Tuesday July 18. The two Dryml brothers are joined by the evergreen former GP rider Bo Brhel ✃along with Josef Franc and rising star 𓆉Sam Simota.

Shock news is that hosts Sweden will be without former Cheetah and six-times World Champion Tony Rickardsson. Rickardsson is currently out of action on doctorᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs' advice and manager Mats Olsso▨n has not included him in the five-man team, with Andreas Jonsson taking over the captaincy.
