Coward joins Penz13 BMW for 2018

Jamie Coward has completed the three-bike line-up for Penz13 BMW Motorrad f෴or the 2018 Isle of Man TT and selected other international road racing events.

Coward caught the eye last year at the Isle of Man TT with an eighth place finish in the Superstock TT race while also scoring po🧔diums at the Southern 100 and Classic TT. The Yorkshire rider joins alongside the already announced Derek Sheils and Danny Webb at the German team with his first event coming in May at the ‘300 Curves of Gustav Havel’ in the Czech Republic.

Jamie Coward has completed the three-bike line-up for Penz13 BMW Motorrad for the 2018 Isle of Man TT and selected otheಞr international road racing events.

Coward caught the eye last year at the Isle of Man TT with an 𝐆eighth place finish in the Superstock TT race while also scoring podiums at the Southern 100 and Classic TT. The Yorkshire rider joins alongside the already announced Derek Sheils and Danny Webb at the German team with his first event coming in May at the ‘300 Curves of Gustav Havel’ in the Czech Republic.

As well as taking on the Isle of Man TT for 2018 Coward will also race at the Macau Gran🧔d Prix as a newcomer and is relishing the new campaign with the Geღrman squad.

“After a great season with Radcliffe Racing I felt confident that we could built on that for 2018 but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be so I am really pleased that the🐷 Penz13 tea♑m called,” Coward said. “With their experience in international road racing as well as in the endurance World Championship I’m confident that they will provide me with the machinery to build on my experience and times to date.

“I believe that 130mph+ is a realistic target and wi♒th Derek and Danny in the team we will complement 🍌each other well. I am really looking forward to testing the bikes in February when we hit the track in Cartagena for the first time.”

Riko Penzkofer, Team Penz13 BMW Motorrad Motorsport team manager, has welcome🐎d Coward with open arms and is thrilled to tie down his three-rider squad ah🥃ead of 2018.

“From the beginning it was clear we want to enter the international road races with a three-ridꦏer line up and when we heard of Jamie’s situation we contacted him immediately and put a dea💙l together,” Penzkofer said. “His experience around the mountain course will also benefit the rest of the team and it is already looking like a promising season ahead.”
