Billy Monger honoured at FIA Prize Giving with President's Award
Billy Monger was honoured at the FIA Prize Giving gala in Parꦫis on Friday night, receiving the President's Award from Jean Todt eight months after losing h꧅is lower legs in a Formula 4 crash.
Monger, 18, had the lower part of both legs amputated after su🐓staining severe injuri🦂es in an F4 crash at Donington Park back in April, with his story and recovery capturing the attention of the motorsport world.

Monger, 18, had the lower part of both🌳 legs amputated after sustaining severe injuries in an F4 crash at Donington Park back in April, with his story and recovery capturing the attenti🦩on of the motorsport world.
Monger has already set his sights on a return to racing in the future, having tested a hand-co🀅ntrolled car in July, and appeared as a guest at the FIA's final gala of the year in Paris.
Taking to the stage using crutches and his prosthetic lower legs, Monger was given a standing ovation by the audience as he accepted the President's Aw🥃ard from Todt.
The President's Award is given to those who have "displayed courage, determination and sportsmanship but to also include 💟those that have co♊ntributed greatly to the broader FIA community".
