MotoGP legend Mick Doohan’s son will make his single-seater debut in 2018 with the Prema Theodore Racing ADA🐽C Formula 4 squad. 

Jack Doohan - son of five-time 500cc ✅MotoGP world champion Mick - ꦡrecently turned 15 and graduates from karting to contest five rounds of the Italian and German ADAC F4 championships with Prema-backed Theodore Racing. 

The Australian was named on the renowned Red Bull Formula 1 juꦫnior driver programme last year.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of the Prema team as a Red Bull Junior Driver in ♛some rounds of the ADAC and Italian F4 championships,” Doohan said.

“To drive for a team as well-respected and succe𒊎ssful a👍s Prema in 2018 is something I could have only dreamt of at the start of 2017 when I arrived in Europe to compete in karts. 

"My experience gained in karts from the𓂃 age of eight has provide🌃d me with a solid foundation, but it’s now time to take my motorsport career to the next level.”

“It will be really interesting to work with Jack, who will make his first steps in single-seater racing this ye🦂ar,” Prema Theodore Racing team principal Ang🍸elo Rosin added. 

“Coming from such a high-profile background in motor racing, I’m sure he will adapt himself really quickly to the new environment. The goal𒁃 for him is to increase his mileage and experience so to prepare for a high-profile step up in 2019.”

Doohan will also enter the British F4 series with Arden International, having carri🔯ed out his first test in a Brit𒊎ish F4 car with the team at Snetterton last October.
