2022 Sepang MotoGP Test Results - Sunday, Day 2 lap times (2pm)

The second and final day of the 🔯Official 2022 Sepang MotoGP test got off to a flying start with day one leader Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and then Enea Bastianini (Gresini Ducati GP21) beating the previous fastest ever two-wh🍬eeled lap recorded at the Malaysian circuit.
The unofficial record (official records are only during grand prix weekends) was by&nb𒈔sp;Danilo Petrucci, on a Ducati, in 2019.
It looked like there was a𒁏 good chance of seeing MotoGP's first ever 1m 57s later today, but rain arrived ꦡshortly before 2pm...
The test is the first time that Marc Marquez has ridden a MotoGP bike since winning at Misano last October, after whi💯ch he was sidelined by a repeat of his 2011 double-vision problems triggered by an enduro training accident.
Testing takes place from 10am 📖t🍒o 6pm, followed by practice starts.
The second and final MotoGP prওe-season test will be held at Indonesia's new Mandalika circuit from February 11-13...
