Dutch MotoGP: Good previous results, ‘but situation is different now’ - Marquez

Marc Marquez’ long and hard journey back to the top of a MotoGP podium was complete in fine ಌstyle last weekend with an 11th straight win in Sachsenring.
The recent improvements in both performance and physical recove💛ry culminated in his and the team's first win since Valencia 2019.
Next up is Assen, a circuit where ܫMarquez has been on the podium every year since 𒅌making his MotoGP debut.
But even so, Marquez doesn’t expect to be quit🥃e as strong there as he was in Germany, and will instead ‘see what’s possible.
"We have enjoyed our moment after the Sachsenℱring, with the team, with my family and with those who helped me," said Marquez.
"But now we focus again and get r🦄eady for Assen, in the past we have had good results there but of course o🌳ur situation is different now.
"The weather is looking very cold and wet, ꦬespecially after what we’ve seen in Germany. So w🃏e will keep working to improve our situation and see what’s possible."
With Marquez winning in Germany; finishing tenth after show🐠ing top five pace on multiple occasions would 🍃have been disappointing for team-mate Pol Espargaro.
Espargaro doesn’t have the best of records at Assen - two top ten finishes in six appearances, however, it’s a circuit that’s ‘great to ride’ as he attempts to𓃲 have a weekend ‘without problems’.
Espargaro added: "It’s great to return to Aไssen after one year away, it’s a historic track and it’s always great to ride these tracks.
"Our weekend in Germany was not perfect but we arrive with a clear mind and ready to go again.&nbs🦹p;
"For sure it looks li🃏ke🍌 the weather will complicate things a bit, but no matter what we keep working to achieve our best.
"The 🗹objective is to have a weekend without problems to put all the pieces together."
