German MotoGP: Winning ‘was hard, but I believe in me’ - Marc Marquez

A sublime Marc M✨arquez kept his unbeaten Sachsenring𓃲 record intact as the eight-time world champion made it 11 straight victories in Germany.
Marquez resisited Catalunya race winner Miguel Oliveira during the mid and final part of the race to ultimately win by 1.6 seconds in the end, after ma💯king a break when raindrops fell on lap five.
It was a win th෴at visibly meant a lot to the Spaniard who was seen holding back tears during an interview in parc ferme.🍰
Following the race, Marquez said: "Yeah I mean, It’s been one of the most important and hardest🔴 moments of my career, and 𝔍today I knew it was a great opportunity. It was not easy the mentality because I’m coming from a hard situation; three zeros in a row, but I say today is the day.
"Before I come in this weekend I say, ‘okay, I will try to fight for the podium, I will try to be close to the top guys’, but the vic𒁃tory was low possibility. But I say ‘if it’s the perfect condition I will try."
Marquez has made changeable conditions his own since joining the Mo🦩toGP category in 2013, and as soon💮 as rain hit the circuit - albeit very light, Marquez knew this was the opportunity to pounce.
"When I saw a few drops on the lap four or five, I said ‘it’s my race’. Then at that point I pushed and kept the same race pace as before. Even when it started the second drops I pushed even more and I said it was time to take a risk," added Marque✅z.
"I take on those laps and when I pass that moment; then start the second race with Miguel [Oliveira]. He push a lot. It was hard, was really hard to keep concentrated because of all the memories - all the situations during ✤this last year was there. But yeah, we did it! We will do again and we will try to stay on the same level."
Before the weekend beꦯgan, victory or a podium at the very𒆙 least for Marquez was seen as a real possibility by many.
And given Marquez completed the most amount of laps during the post Catalunya race test, it was the first event since returning at Portimao where his physic🌸al limitations would be reduced due to the Sachsenring circuit having ten left corners to only three right’s.
"I already say this will be the first weekend I will ride with less physical limitation. There is less righ🐬t corners, so less corners where🌌 I will lose time," said Marquez.
"Left corners I feel, not 100% the position, but is no limitation to be fast. All these things help and today I did the perfect start. I did the perfect f𓃲irst lap.
"When I saw that Miguel [ꦜOliveira] was catching me I say ‘okay, maybe it will be difficult’. But I believe, I believe in me.
"It was hard to♎ push and hard to have the confidence because I was thinking more about the three crashes in a row. So today was also important to finish the race and we did it in a very good way."
