2021 British MotoGP at Silverstone to be broadcast live on ITV
Following the surprising news that race d🏅ay at Le Mans is to shown live on ITV4 in the UK, Dorna has announced that the British MotoGP will als🐲o be live on ITV later this year.
ITV4 became the new ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚhome of free-to-air MotoGP highlights, broadcast on Monday evenings, at the start o𝓡f 2021.
News then broke via TV listings that all three grand prix races at this weekend's Le Mans round would be shown live on ITV4, marking the first time that live MotoGP has been broadcast free-to-air in the UK since BT Sport t♌ook over the exclusive rights in 2014.
No reason has been given for the move, although🦄 it suggests the UK's MotoGP TV numbers are in need of a boost.
That should ce꧅rtainly happen at Silverstone, where the British MotoGP race on August 29 will be shown live on ITV's 'main channel'.
