Following a Shakedown for test riders, concessio𝓰n manufacturers KTM and Aprilia, plus rookies, the 💯full 2020 MotoGP grid is taking to the track for the first time this year at Sepang in Malaysia.

Fabio Quartararo was quickest for Petronas Yamaha on day 🅠one, us💙ing a 2019 bike. The French star is making his debut on the 2020 Factory-Spec M1 today (Saturday).

The three-day test (Friday-Sunday) marks Zarco's debut outing for Ducati as well as the first MotoGP la🀅ps since shoulder surgery for reigning world champion Marc Marquez (R💟epsol Honda) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda).

Tech 3's Miguel Oliveira, the other rider to undergo a recent shoulder operation, was present for the Shakedown, 🐠where KTM riders were qui🍃ckest over all three days courtesy of Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargaro.

Last year's Sepang test saw a new unofficial lap record of 1m 58.239s set by Ducati's Danilo Petrucci - will the new Michelin rear t꧒yre combined with the latest bike developments produce the first ever 1m 57s lap?

Triple MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenz𓂃o, who began his new role as a Yamaha test rider at the Shakedown, is also expected to♉ ride at some stage during the Official Test.

The track action takes place from 10am to 6pm eacꦦh day, after which just one further pre-season test will be held, in Qatar, venue of the season-opening night race on 🃏March 8.
