British Talent Cup expands prize packages

The British Talent Cup has expanded its prize range for 2020 including prize ꦏmoney for the top 10 finishers per race.

Since its launch in 2017 the British Talent Cup🌳 has offered standout riders a path to the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship as well as the opportunity to catch the eye racing as a support category to MotoGP, the World Superbike championship and t😼he British Superbike championship.

The British Talent♍ Cup has expanded its prize ꦍrange for 2020 including prize money for the top 10 finishers per race.

Since its launch in 2017 the British Talent Cu෴p has offered st🐈andout riders a path to the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship as well as the opportunity to catch the eye racing as a support category to MotoGP, the World Superbike championship and the British Superbike championship.

Fo🤡r 🌄2020 the British Talent Cup acts as a permanent support category to BSB, effectively replacing the British Motostars series, while also retaining its spot on the British MotoGP race schedule at Silverstone.

Also new from next year the prizes available have been increased, including a prize fund per race with each race winner takingꦡ home £500, second place £300, third place £200, fourth place £150, fifth-eighth places £100, ninth-tenth places £50 ꦐpaid by MSVR.

Tyre suppliers Dunlop Motorsport are also providing a prize fund for the top three in the✱ final championship standings (£5,000 for first, £3,000 for second and £2,000 for third). Dunlop will be giving tyres as prizes per race with the race winner getting a front♒ and rear tyre, second place getting a rear tyre and third place getting a front tyre.

Dorna will still choose a rider from the British Isles to compete in the 2021 FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship, while two riders will get the chance to take part in the Red Bull Mot🎉oGP Rookies’ Cup selection event for 2021.

The 2020 season gets underway with testing at Jerez on 1-2 March before the opener on 10-12 April at Silverstone’s National circuit as part of the BSB programme. All riders will get to grips with the stand🅷ard Honda NSF 250R machine in the single-make series. All rounds will host a double-header of racing action to create a 20-race season which will mark the British Talent Cup’s biggest-ever campaignꦆ.
