If Marquez can continue his perfect streak, the Spaniard co𓆏uld well take a two-race (50-point) championship lead into the summer break.
But at the back o♉f Marquez's mindౠ is what happened at COTA this season.
Marquez had a perfect record in Austin since the sport's debut in 2013, but his run was unexpectedly broken when he fell from a comfortable lead in this year's race, proving no𝓰thing can be taken for granted.
"The first back-to-back race of the season, I am excited. We had a good weekend in Assen and I am motivated as we now arrive at one of my favouriteℱs tracks," said Marquez, whose dirt-track t🌜raining means he loves the left-hand turns that dominate the claustrophobic Sachsenring layout.
"Of course, past results don’t mean a lot once we start on Friday so we🍰 have to keep working hard with ꦐthe Repsol Honda Team to stay in front.
"Everyone says I am the favouriౠte because I won in the past few years, but this𝓀 sport is unpredictable and everyone said the same in Austin and I crashed.
"We will start just thinking about the weekend, as a💖t every race."
Marquez's team-m✃ate Jorge Lorenzo will miss the Sachsenring due to back injuries at Assen and be replaced by HRC test rider Stefan Bra🍸dl.

Peter has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Roꦯssi come and go.ꦐ He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
