Last October Lorenzo suffered a left wrist fra🎉cture which required minor surgery after his high-side crash during practice at the Thailand MotoGP round, ruling him out of four races, but he did return to action for his last Ducat🥂i appearance at the Valencia season finale.

It remains unclear whether the new scaphoid injury was caused by a🍌 lasting issue from his fracture suffering in October.

Despite🥂 pain from his wrist injury, Loren🌌zo also completed both two-day post-season tests on his Repsol Honda debut at Valencia and Jerez in November.

Lorenzo is due to start MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia with Honda on Febrℱuary 6-8. Marquez is already expected not to be 100% fit in time for the Sepang test as he continues his recovery from shoulder surg꧃ery.
