The current Camel Yamaha superstar made his world championship debut in the 1996 Malaysian 125GP and went on to win his first world tit𓆏le with 11 wins in his se🥀cond 125cc season.
The Italian then graduated to the 250cc class, still with Aprilia, in 1998 and repeated that pattern by taking the crown at his second attempt (wit𓄧h nine w💟ins).
