The Misano circui🔴t, home of the San Marino MotoG🔥P, is being completely resurfaced.

The work, requiring 5000 tons of asphalt, is being overseen by Dromo design and project management and🍷, weather permitting, is expected to be complete by March 10.

Dromo has pledged a faster and safer circuit due t💖o the revised asphalt, run-off areas, plus corner and 🦋kerb re-profiling.

"Misano World Circuit has accepted MotoGP's request for improving the safety systems," said FIM Grand Prix Sa🌠fe🍷ty Officer Franco Uncini.

"The owners of the circuit have always agreed to FIM and FIA requests, a clear sign that the management of MWC is always careful to ensure a track and facility with the hi꧋ghest levels of safety and performance.

"Increasing safety allows an increase in the performance and consequently to increase the public's interest in Misano which is always present in large amou꧙nts. Also this year we expect to see it 'sold out'! "

𒅌Misano 🎐is the local circuit of Valentino Rossi, who claimed his first home win since 2009 in last season's event. Earlier in the weekend, the wet Friday practice sessions claimed numerous victims, perhaps prompting the asphalt changes.
