Karel Abraham, who withdrew from his MotoGP return at Assen after continuing to struggle with his injured hand in morning warm-up, is also unlikely to ride ♚in next weekend's German Grand Prix.

The Cardion AB Ducati rider sustaiꦓned finger fractures in his left hand during a test fall after Catalunya an🧸d had missed the British MotoGP weekend prior to his attempted return in Holland.

"We tried riding flat out in the warm-up this morning, just to see if the hand would hold up for the ent😼ire race. Unfortunately, the pain was quite intense and it would be nearly impossible to ride at full pelt for three-quarters of an hour," said Abraham.

"Before that, I'd gone for another check-up withܫ💎 the doctors, where they explained that the cause of the pain was the mass bruising of the hand, which would only get worse with any repeated strain. I

"t's tough, but the only way the hand's going to get better is with complete rest and rehabi🔜litation. With this in mind, we've decided in all likelihood to skip the next race at the Sachsenring in Germany, si♔nce the hand is not going to heal in five days and any further strain would put us back to square one.

"So, I'll have at least two weeks of rehab, wౠhich I hope will be enough time to be fully ready for the next♕ race at Italy's Mugello circuit.

"To miss out on Germany is really difficult to take: for Czech fans, it'🉐s the closest race apart from Brno, and I know that there are many fans looking forward to the trip. I'd just like to let them know that I'm really sorry."
