Moto2 teen talent Fermin Aldeguer “signs contract” to guarantee ‘25 Ducati MotoGP move

ꦕFermin Aldeguer has reportedly signed a contract with Ducati to move into one of their MotoGP teams in 2025.
The exciting teenage talent will remain in🍸 Moto2 this year with the Speed Up Racing Team.
But, next 💖year, he will progress into the premier class and slot into a space at team under the Ducati umbrella, report.
Last week, before Ducati unveiled its Gresini and factory liveries, Aldeguer was present in their𝐆 headquarters to pen this hugely significant contract, the report states.
“Ducati doesn’t want any surprises, Ducat🍰i doesn’t want any uncertainties in the immediate future,” it is reported.
By snapping up the 18-year-old Spaniard, they have secured on🌠ꦫe of the hottest talents outside of MotoGP.
He finished th♔ird in last season’s Moto2 championship which was won by Pedro Acosta, who will ride in the premier class for Tech3 GASGAS this year.
Aldeguer almost followed Acosta into MotoGP for 2024 when he was linked to vacancies at Repsol Honda and🌄 then VR46.
But Speed Up Racing Team owner Luca Boscoscuro decided Aldeguer was “not for sale no matter how 𓆏many millions were offer🦩ed to him”.
Aldeguer will now have an exciting selection to pick from in a 🐟year’s time.
Every MotoGP rider except for Brad Binder (KTM) and Luca Marini (Honda) will see their contracts expire at the end of t🔜his season meaning a merry-go-round of ride🏅r moves is anticipated.
Pramac, at first glance, looks the most obvious landi💎ng spot for Aldeguer.
Jorge Martin has vowed to spend one final year at Pramac then either move to the factory Ducati team or quit for another brand, me🦩aning a spot will open u🎃p which Aldeguer now becomes a leading contender for.
Elsewhere, VR46 have Marco Bezzecchi ꦰand Fabio di Giannantonio, while Greꩵsini have Marc Marquez (whose 2025 options are already being debated) and Alex Marquez.
Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianiniও are the factory pair.
With Aldeguer’s future now controlled by Ducati, bikes for the 2025 g♔rid have suddenly become even more 🔴coveted than before.
