The 2024 MotoGP calendar dropped from 22 rounds be🌞cause of 🅺the cancellation of Argentina.
The event at the Termas de Rio Hondo was due to be April 5-7, as the third rꦿound of the𝕴 season, but was called off reportedly due to government cost-cutting.
The Indian MotoGP was later cancelled, and is due to reap💝pear in early-2025.
India's place, the postponed Kazakhstan MotoGP was rearranged b💖ut then cancelled. In its place was a second round at Misano, named the Emilia-Romagna MotoGP. It means consecutive rounds will be held at Misano.
The season will retain its regionalised ap꧒🦩proach, grouping races geographically.
There ar🍰e 10 rounds before the summer bre꧃ak, and 11 after.
Qatar returns as the season-opener on Marꦜch 10, before the series heads to Portugal a fortnight later for the second round.
Portugal and India are still subject to contract before they can be confirm💝ed.
Silverstone will hold the ♊first race after the summer break.
There are two triple-headers in the second half of 2024 - Emilia-Romagna, Indonesia, 🐼Japa💯n then later Australia, Thailand, Malaysia.
The season will conclude💯 on November 17 in Valencia.
