Joan Mir ruled out of Argentina MotoGP race

Mir, w𓆏ho had qualified last, crashed on the first lap of Saturday's sprint race, hurting his ankle and🐼 receiving a bang to the head.
He was transported to a local hospital for chec🧸ks, then returned ꦍto the medical centre at the circuit for more evaluation.
The Spaniard was decl♕ared unfit following a medical cඣheck on Sunday:
"After a morning medical check, Joan Mir was declared unfit for the Argentina GP by MotoGP and circuit medical staff due to cranial and cervical trauma," read a Repsol Honda statement.
"Undergoing CT and ultrasound tests at the Hospital Santiago del Estero, cervical physiological lordosis was confirmed and Mir continued to experience feelings of nausea and dizziness.
"Mir will return home to Europe to continue his recovery to be fully prepared for the Grand Prix of the Americas, April 14 – 16."
Mಞir's♛ absence means there will be just 17 riders on the grid.
It is ano🍰ther blow for Repsol Honda whose star man Marc Marquez is als♌o missing in Argentina due to a hand injury picked up in last week’s grand prix.
Enea Bastianini, Miguel Oliveira and Pol Esparg𒐪aro are also absent in Argentina due to injury.
