Live updates of the 2025 MotoGP launch event in Bangkok
The 2025 MotoGP season begins at the end of the month in Thailand𒁃, but the series is setting up sh🎀op in the country for much of February.
On 12-13 February the final pre-se🌟ason test of the year takes ℱplace at Buriram, before the campaign begins at the circuit on 28 March - 2 February.
But first, the 2025 MotoGP season will be officially launched in Bangkok with all 11 teams♛ present for a day of activities in𒀰 front of the Thai fans.
It is the first time MotoGP has staged an official launch for a season, though ther🅠e will be no liveries revealed as the teams have already unveiled tওheir colours for the coming campaign.
The🃏 launch event begins at 9:30am GMT with all riders taking their MotoGP machines for a parade through the city, before taking to the stage in front of the fans.
Reigning world champion Joꦺrge Martin will not attend after undergoing surgery on fractures he suffered in a crash on day one of the Sepang test.
VR46's Fabio Di Giannantonio and Trackhouse Racing's Raul Fernandez will also miss the event due to in🐠juries suffered in pre-season testing.
Marquez is asked if this is the year he wins MotoGP title num📖ber seven: "I mean, of course it will be very difficult because we have a very strong team-mate. Pecco is riding the Ducati super good and I need to learn many things from him."
Bagnaia is asked if he is ready: "I think we can say after the test we are 100% ready, but let's wait till the first race. The last test we have to decide many things. The new bike looks great as always, but we need to make the correct decision because to improve a p♛erfect bike is difficult."

Marc Marquez: "We are super lucky that MotoGP is super high everywhere we go. We did an incredible event here in T♋hailand and it will be the first race. So, super happy to be part of history.
"ꦜIn Thailand, I have very good memories because I celebrated m🔯y eighth world championship. So, it was already five years ago. Then many things happened. But I like Buriram. I like the circuit. I like the people."

Miller: "It's been a big learning curve for us, trying to understand the machine. I think we've wrapped💯 our head around the Yamaha pretty quickly. It was a long test in Sepang but really useful for both of us."

Meanwhile, Pramac team-mate Miguel Oliveira 💫tried to put on an Australian accent... and ends up sounding American. Stick to the r💮iding, I think, Miguel.
Pedro Acosta: "We hope. At the en🌼d I think we improved a lot. Last year there were good battles in some races. Let's try to battle for good results every weekend, which for me the thing that was missing was to fight for more."
Cꦇrowd resp🃏onds emphatically with "yes" when asked if Acosta can win in 2025.

"I think it's a beautiful way to start the season. Thai fa🧸ns are﷽ always passionate about bikes and especially MotoGP. Racing is good, Buriram is a nice track, I've always been fast."
