Kenny Noyes will make a Mཧoto2 grand prix return at Aragon this week🐷end, as the latest stand-in rider for the JiR team.

With Tetsuta Nagashima sidelined due to his Silverstone injuries, the team fielded local rider Federico Caricasulo on its TSR chassis at Misano, before signing up 𓆏Noyes for Aragon.

Noyes, son of Moto Journalist Dennis Noyes, was a full time Moto2 racer during 2010 and 2011, claiming a pole position at Le Mans and best race finish of fifth. The 35-year-old American then returned to the Spanish CEV series and is currently just four points off the Superbike title lead, having taken thre♐e wins this year - including a double victory at Aragon.

"This opportunity came as a complete surprise," Noyes said. "It will be fun to get back out there on a Moto2 machine and see how it꧃ feels after a year and a half on a Superbike.

"Motorland is a tough tech꧃nical track but I won my last two races there so I think we can have a good race i🌳f I can get used to the Moto2 again quickly. I want to thank JiR for the ride and Kawasaki Palmeto for giving me permission to do a one off ride on a bike that isn't green!"

JiR team principal Gianluca Montiron added: "Kenny already has experience in the Moto2 class and now he's challenging for the title in the Spanish Supe🌳rbike Championship. We welcome his experience, as he knows well the track and the competition level of the Moto2 class.
