Moto2: Nina Prinz earns Sachsenring wild-card

Female racer Nina Pr🍒inz is to compete as a wild-card at the forthcoming Sachsenring Moto2 Grand Pri💎x.

The German will ride for the QMMF team,ཧ which took victory last time at Assen with Anthon West.

The appea🌳rance has been made possible after the FIM lifted the age restriction🤡s on wild-card rides in the championship, allowing the 31 year-old a dream home debut.

Prinz said: "It was always my dream to ride once in the World Championship, and then in Germany and with the fantastic scen🤪ery at Sachsenring - there really a dream comes tru𝓡e."

Prinz has spent her 2014 season in the Qatar Superbike Championship with the Suzuki International Europe team sp🌸onsored by QMMF, who also ꧃run the championship.

She finished fourth in the overall s𝓀tandings behind winner Alex Cudlin after finishing🙈 fourth and second in the final two races of the season, with the second place her best performance to date.

Prinz has spent most of her career moving up through the German championships, beginning in poꦫcket bikes before working her way up through her national Supersport and Superbike competitions.

She is the first woman to take part in Moto2 since Elena Rosell also rode for the QMMF Team for the duration of the 2012 season, though she will not🅷 be the only female in the paddock as Ana Carrasco continues to appear in the Moto3 championship this year for RW Racing GP as a regular rider.

Prinz is the second female rider to♏ earn a wild-card this season after Maria Herrera who has so far competed in both of the Spanish heldꩵ rounds of the Moto3 Championship.
