2019 Le Mans 24 Hours first entries confirmed
The first 42 entrants to the 2019 Le Mans 24 🧸Hours have been confirmed ahead of the season finale of the current World Endurance Championship.
With the second Le Mans 24 Hours, the 87th running of th🤡e iconic endurance event, rounding out the 2018-1ܫ9 WEC Super Season campaign, the Automobile Club d’lOuest has confirmed it has received 75 applications for the 60 grid slots with the Le Mans selection committee automatically ratifying 42 spots.
On Ma⛦rch 1 the full official entry list for the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours will be confirmed.

Defꦛending champions Toyota Gazoo Racing return as expected with unchanged driver line-ups while the Ginetta squad has dropped off the entry list.
34 participants from this year’s WEC campaign plus eight competitors, invited due to their results at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in the European Le Mans Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2018, form the 🌸initial entry list. The four invitations from the Asian Le Mans Series will be announced on 24 February after the f𒊎inal round in Sepang.
Of the 75 applications received, the Selection Committee will grant 14 more invitati♔ons (in addition to the four from the Asian Le Mans Series), designate 10 reserve cars and reject five applications by March 1.
Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Hurley Haywood has been named as the event’s Grand Marsha🃏l for 2019.
