After impressing during ꦚhis several stand-in appearances for Ferrari and ꦍHaas, Oliver Bearman is a full-time F1 driver in 2025.

Bearman making it into F1 looked inevitable following his one-off drive for Ferrari at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, stepping in for Carlos Sainz. The young British driver adapted well to a high-pressure weekend, finishing ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton to secure a top-seven finish at♓ Jeddah.

Despite a poor Formula 2 campaign, curtailed by Prema’s struggles with the new generation of car, Haas were ℱimpressed with Bearman’s numerous practice session appearances. Bearman also starred in his two other stand-in races, out-qualifying veteran Nico Hulkenberg on both occa💛sions.

In 2025, Bearman w♓ill race alongside Esteban Ocon, forming a new ♛driver line-up for the American team under their impressive team principal, Ayao Komatsu. With Ferrari’s backing, out-performing Ocon will put him in the shop window for years to come if a seat opens at the Scuderia.

Bearman clinched his first title in 2021, winning the Italian Formula 4 Championship. His Formula ﷺ3 rookie season was impressive, finishing third as he narrowly missed out on the title𝄹.

Bearman continued to show his lightning speed in F2, takinꦆg four victories. His rookie season included back-to-back wins in Azerbaijan, where he claimed pole despite having a damaged steering column.

While his second F2 season di𓆉dn’t go to plan, Haas’s belief didn’t waver, handing him a full-time drive for 2025.
