Peter Hickman will stick with Smiths 💎Racing BMW for 2020 while the team signs Alex Olsen to complete its Bennetts British Superbike championship line-up for⭕ next season.

With Hickman staying at the team for a fourth consecutive year, in what is expected to be a BSB and road racing deal, Smiths have also signed up Olsen for his first full campaign in the series after impressing as stand-ꦅin for the final rounds of this season.

“I am really happy to𝄹 be staying with Smiths Racing for a four consecutive year,” Hickman said. “The team has grown massively over these last three seasons and we have grown together. This year🤡 we have done a lot of development with the new BMW S1000RR and I believe we have done a great job getting into the Showdown.

“Now we really need to work out what♒ we need to do so that we can start winning races on a regular basis. This winter we can work on these things and it will be great to h꧂ave the opportunity to test ready for next year and hit the ground running, unlike this year!”

Olsen will step up from the Pirelli National Superstock 100♊0 championship and is naturally relishing the opportunity after making a strong impression over the final rounds oꦏf this season.
