Jose Maria Lopez will return to Formula E at next weekend's Marrakesh E-Prix after being named🌜 as Neel Jani's replacement at Dragon Racing for the remainder of the season.

Three-time WTCC champion Lopez entered Formula E with DS Virgin Racing in 2016, claiming tw📖o podium finishes through his debut campaign, but was dropped by the team after just a single season to free up a seat for Alex Lynn.

Despite coming꧃ close to a seat with Techeetah for season four, Lopez was left on the sidelines, but will return in Marrakesh after Jani parted company with Dragon following just a single race weekend.

"This is an exciting opporཧtunity for me and I’mꦯ looking forward to the challenge of Formula E in season four with Dragon," Lopez said.

"I have good experience from season three, and I’m confi🐬dent that we can achieve strong results as the season 🀅progresses."
