Frenchman Bruce Jouanny had mixed fortunes at in Sunday's British Fo📖rmula 3 Double Header - climaxing in his first visit to the Podium in 2001.
Despite getting collected in the first lap incident in the morning's first race he fought back from 23rd to 11th place, leaving him just outside the points but he had༒ set the second fastest lap of the race just 0.014secs slower than Anthony Davidson.
"I know I could have gone even quicker however when my tires were at the best I caught up the battle lead for the Scholarship Class. Robbie Kerr let me pass howe𝄹ver I had to fight my way round Keohane who was actually defending his line unnecessarily🧜," explained Bruce.
"That꧅ fastest lap really helped my confidence so when it came to this afternoons race I was in the zone" he continued "I k🀅new that I had to get a good start to maximise on my grid position".
When the red lights went out signalling the start of race two, Jou൩anny was able to make up two p🌄laces and a further position came courtesy of a jump-start by Mark Taylor who had a stop go penalty dropping him from second to last place.
Another place was picked up from Jaguar F1 test driver Andre Lotterer who subsequently stuck the back of the talented Frenchman's Promatecme prepare🍌d Mugen-Honda Dallara F3꧒01 for the balance of the event.
"Battling with Lotterer again like that was like last weekend at Silverstone except this time he had to get past me," 𝓰the young Parisian said, "I could not believe my luck when Mark Taylor pulled into the pit🎃 lane for his penalty."
"I am overjoyed at getting a podium today especially after the nightmare form when we were here early this year" grinned a happy Jouanny. "I am in tenth place in the championship now and I 🎃think the nex💃t few races will be great."
