Th𓆏e British Flag was flying high at Collier Street track on S🅰unday 24th August as former World Long Track Champion Kelvin Tatum took his second win in the championship series in front of his home fans.

The crowds that turned up to the ꦅTonbridge circuit were treated to some blistering racing despite delays due to the dusty track. Once the FIM ofꦓficials were persuaded to let local knowledge show its worth the Tonbridge and Malling Club along with the ACU pulled out all the stops to get the racing back on track.

The fans showed great patience and tolerance on the sunny afternoon and they were rewarded with some awesome displays of racing which saw British Rider, Tatum take the top step of the podium. Current Cha💃mpionship leader Robert Barth quickly followed him over the finish line after a storming last lap dash moving him from fifth to second with Gerd Ris🐽s completing the top three. Tatum's title hopes were kept alive with his victory over Barth - only eleven points separate the two!

The Solo Support class saw Trevor Banks taking the win over Mitch Godden with Martyn Sturgeon in third and in the Sidecar Support Darren Treloar/Justin Plaisted claimed the victory despite coming under pressure early in the r🍌ace from Ivor Matthews/Mick Stace who hung on for second.

Grass Track certaಞinly showed it was a sport with 𝓰an incredibly loyal following and everyone involved with the day wishes to express their unreserved thanks to those who came along.
