Berwick plummeted deep into the very depths of on-track🌃 disaster on Wednesday night at King's Lynn with a display only described as abysmal.

Leading 47-43 from the home leg, the Bandits knew the task ahead was a steep upward hill, but had not banked on it being of "Everest-ial" proportions as King's Lynn simply walked all over them🦹 from the off, with 8 of the opening 9 heats returning a maximum Stars' 5-1 result, the only break in scoring a 3-3 in Heat 4 when home reserve John Oliver fell having already passed Bergstrom and about to pass Branney.

Over all 11 of the 15🧜 heats were 5-1, another 3𓄧 were 4-2 and that solitary 3-3 was the very depressing tale-of-the-tape.

Heat 10 saw Makovsky pass Nermark, with Nermark pushing hard to repass unsuccessfully, and Heat 15 Oliver and Bergstrom had a good tussle, the young reserve from King's Lynn holding ♔on for the point ahead of the Swede.

A one to forget for Berwick, and there's nothing eꦗlse to be said on one of the darkest days in the Bandits' history.
