Halliday returns to FPR at Sandown and Bathurst.

Ford Performance Racing [FPR] has announced that highly experienced New Zealand driver Matt Halliday will re-🎐join them fo🦹r both of the 2007 V8 Supercar endurance races.

Halliday, who drove th🥀e number five FPR Falcon during the 2006 endurance race se🤡ason, will again race with the Prodrive team at the Sandown 500 (September 14th-16th) and the Bathurst 1000 (October 4th-7th).

Ford Performa꧋nce Racing [FPR] has announced that highly experienced New Zealand driver Matt Halliday will re-join them for both of the 2007 V8 Supercar endu♏rance races.

Halliday, who drove the number five FPR Falcon during the 2006 endurance race season, will agai🌊n race with the Pro♓drive team at the Sandown 500 (September 14th-16th) and the Bathurst 1000 (October 4th-7th).

Halliday's speed 𒅌and versatility makes him a strong addition to FPR's 2007 enduro driver line up. He is currently placed second in the New Zealand Porsche GT3 Challenge Cup after a highly successful season which has seen Halliday gain a remarkable seven victories from his past🧸 nine starts.

The Kiwi driver is looking forward ܫto re-joining FPR with the goal of achieving success in V8 Supercars: "It's great to be re-joining FPR which is one of the most professional teams I have driven with," he noted. "After two good races and getting to know the team well in 2006, I'm looking forward to contributing to major results꧂ in the major Sandown and Bathurst endurance races later this year."

Besides his endurance racing co-driver role with FPR in 2006, Halliday's previous V8 Suಞpercar experience includes endurance race co-driving for Ford team Larkham Motor Sport in the 2004 and 2005 Sandown and Bathurst endurance races.

"Matt Halliday is a highly talented driver who we feel has yet to reach his full potential in V8 Supercars," added FPR Motorsport Director Tim Edwards. "He has now gained significant experience at Sandown and Bathurst and we are sure that he will make a significant 🌱contribution to our 2007 endurance race effort. He is in the midst of a🐷 busy and highly successful international racing season, which will prepare him well for our two major races in September and October."

Last season Halliday made his 🐠debut for FPR finishing 15th in the Sandown 500 with co-driver Cameron Mclean. He then joined international Sportscar champion driver David Brabham at the Bathurst 1000.

FPR will 𒊎announce the team's fourth enduro driver and its driver pairings༒ for each of the endurance races in due course.
