Nieto retires, ready to run Gibernau?

Pablo Nieto, son of '12+1' world champion Angel Nieto, has announced that he will retire from racing at🦄 next weekend's Valencia season finale and concentre on team managem𒐪ent.

The 28-year-old has raced in the 125cc class for ten full seasons,✅ claiming one race victory, eight podiums and three pole position🧸s. The Spaniard's highest championship ranking is sixth, in both 2002 and 2004, when he rode an Aspar Aprilia.

The 28-year-old has raced in the 125cc class for ten full seasons, claiming one race victory, ꦍeight podiums and three pole positions. The Spaniard's highest championship ranking is sixth, in both 2002 and 2004, when h꧋e rode an Aspar Aprilia.

Nieto has steered an Onde 2000-backed KTM this season and will join brother Gelete in a management role at the team - which is tipped to graduate to the MotoGP class in 2009, running former d🦩ouble MotoGP World Championship runner-up Sete Gibernau on a fifth Ducati Desmose💜dici.

The Onde 2000 team's plans a🐻re expected to be a𓆉nnounced at Valencia.
