Aston Martin Racing's Stuart Hall has been banned from taking any further part in the 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours after the Automobile Club de l'Ouest came down heavily ♛on him for his par𝔍t in the accident involving the #008 AMR entry and the #26 Bruichladdich Bruneau Radical.

Neither Hall or AMR has any room to appeal the decision, which was taken, somewhat belatedly, after the #009 made heavy contact with the Radical after passing it on the run to the home straight. Just after the Ford chicane, the #2ꦗ6 was sent spinning into the pit entry tyre wall, resulting in heavy damage to both an🐠d the re-appearance of the safety car.

While the Radical was returned to the garage for repairs to broken right rear suspension, a missing rear wing and b𓆏lown right rear tyre, Hall was initially allowed to continue, before subsequently being excluded from the meeting while one of his team-mates' subsequent stints. Peter Kox and Harold Primat will now spend the remaining 15 hours r💟unning as a two-driver team.

The #009 is not challenging for honours, meanwhile, having recovered to 32nd overall at the time of Hall's exclusion being made public. The Briton had reported the electrics cutting out prior꧋ to his incident, but the team tried - without success - to☂ find a remedy.
