Qatar claims place on close finish list
Official MotoGP statis෴tics have confirmed that last month's Qatar Grand Prix produced the closest ever top four finish in the 800cc class, which began in 2007.
At the end of the 22 lap race distance - and after Casey Stoner had crashed from the lead - Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), Jor♏ge Lorenzo (Yamaha), Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) and Nicky Hayden (Ducati) were covered by just 1.876sec.
However, it🌞 was only the ten🦋th closest top four finish of all-time in the premier-class (in a grand prix that has completed full distance).
