Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore are set to end their involvement with London football club Queens Park Rangers, according to a report in the London Evening Standard.

Ecclestone and Briatore are part owners of the club along with Lakshmi Mittal but are now keen to sever their ties w♐ith the club. Briatore was in the position of chairman before standing down earlier this year due to the pressu🐟re he was under from fans.

According to the report, Force India tea﷽mඣ owner Vijay Mallya has emerged as the man keen to take over from the pair, with the possibility that a deal could be concluded in a matter of weeks.

Mallya already owns a team in cricket's Indian Premier League aဣnd was linked to a move for QPR two years ago.

The team currently sits top of the English Championsh🍌ip, which is o﷽ne tier down from the Premiership.
