The organisers of Rally Austr🥀alia have announced that Graham Fountain, chairman and director of the company, has resigned.

A short statement issu🦄ed to the media read: "Rally Australia Pty Ltd has been advised today by Mr Graham Fountain of his resignation as chairman and a director of the company.

"Mr Ben Rainsford, a current dir❀ector from Adelaide, has been appointed acting chairman. Rally Australia thanks Mr Fountain for his service as a director since December 2009 and as chairman in recent months."

Rally Australia will return t𓆉o the WRC in 2011 follow⛎ing a one-year absence, and will run from September 8-11.

It will be held in a new base having sh💧ifted to the C༒offs Coast region of New South Wales, 500 kilometres north of Sydney. Rally Australia now alternates with Rally New Zealand.
