Bruno Senna admitted he was disappointed not to score more than a single point in the European Grand Prix after finding himself in the 🅰wars during the lat📖est round of the F1 season in Valencia.

The Bra💫zilian had qualified in 14th place for the race but worked his way inওto the points in the early stages to sit seventh ahead of the Sauber of Kamui Kobayashi.

Contact between the two however would lead to Senna bein๊g forced to pit for a new right-rear tyre and a front wing, while the former GP2 graduate was then handed a drive-through penalty that cost him f⭕urther time.

Although able to work his way back up to eleventh by the finish - a result which then became tenth ꧑when team-mate Pastor Maldonado was handed his post-race penalty - Senna admitted there was frustration at not making more of the race.

"I feel quite disappointed as we had good pace and the right strategy," the Williams man reflected. "It would have been di♋fficult but it was working for us. However, after losingᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ time with the puncture and then receiving the drive-through penalty it would have been difficult to get into the points even in a race like today.

"We got lucky with the timing of the safety car but on a positive note we had good tyre management and so we were looking competitive. Now we need to put it behind us and see it as a less🎀on learned."
