Four fans have been injured today in ඣthe shakedown for Rallye Deutschland, after PWRC driver Nicolas Fuc✱hs crashed into a kerb.

According to initial reports, the front wheel broke off in the imp𒀰act, injuring four spectators, one of whom suffered head injuries and was airlifted to hospital 𝕴in Trier.

Organisers have sin💎ce confirmed that of the four spectators injured three have already been released from hospital. The fourth person is said to still be receiving medica🌃l treatment.

After the accident the shakedown was halted early with drivers instructed to return to the service park. The priority 1 drivers had already completed most - if not - all of their runs, however, with Citroen's Sebastien Loeb quickest [see separate story - HERE].
