FIM statement on Bridgepoint announcement

The FIM, governing body of the MotoGP and World Superbike Championships, has released the foꩲllowing statement regarding the 'joining' of the respective commercial rights holders - Dorna and Infront - under a single umbrella organisation.
Private equity group Bridgepoint now💦 cont🌱rols both Dorna and Infront.
The FIM statement is supportive of the move, and also confirms that changes will be m🔯ade to create more of a separation between the prototype (MotoGP) and production-based (WSBK) championships.
'The FIM h✨as taken due note of Bridgepoint's announcement that it is reorganising its motor sport interests by bringing MotoGP and World Superbikes together under one umbrella organisation.
'The FIM President Vito Ippolito said of the reorganisation: "I welcome Bridgepoint's decision to bring the two championships together within a single organisation. We shall shortly be holding a meeting of all of the stakeholders in order ♓to reposition the two championships and look into the technical and operational implications. We shall then be able to adapt the regulations to ensure that they have a distinct identity in future."'
