A Lorenzo corner? Catalunya - but not the last turn!
Following the naming of turn three at Phillip Island in honour of local star Casey Stoner, M꧅oto🅰GP title leader Jorge Lorenzo was asked which corner he would like for a similar tribute when he retires.
♚The Factory Yamaha star replied that ideally the circuit would be Ca꧒talunya, near where he now lives.
And the corner?
🌠"The last one, for sure not!" smiled Lorenzo, nodding towards Valentino Rossi. "I don't have great memories!"
Lorenzo famously loไst the 2009 Catalan Grand Prix when he was overtaken at the final turn of the r🍷ace by team-mate Rossi (pictured).
C🔯ountryman and title rival Dani Pedrosa said somewhere at a race tracജk in Spain, maybe Jerez, with Rossi selecting Casanova-Savelli at Mugello in Italy.
