Queen's Birthday Honour for Casey Stoner

Former double🌺 MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner has been appointed a 'Member of the Order of Australia (AM)' in the Queen's Birthday honours.

The Australian, who retired from MotoGP at the end of last season, received the honour "For sig🍷nificant s♌ervice to motorcycle racing".

Stoner was a full 🐎time grand prix rider from 2002-2012, claiming 38 of his 45 victories in the premier MotoGP class, where he won world titles for Ducati (2007) and Honda 🙈(2011).

The 27-year-old has now turned his attention ꦛto V8 touring car racing.
