Rally de Espana: Mikkelsen in co-driver boost

Norwegian rally star Andreas Mikkelsen will re-unite wi🍸th regular co-driver𝓡 Mikko Markkula on Rally de Espana next week.
The๊ Volkswagen Motorsport II pilot has been partnered by Paul Nagle on the last two events in Australia and France. However, Markkula is now back to full-fitness and has recovered from the two vertebrae fractures he suffered in Finland at the start of August.
"The Rally Spain is really interesting because it covers both asphalt and grave🍌l," sܫaid Mikkelsen in the countdown to the penultimate round in the 2013 World Rally Championship.
"Most of the Special Stages are onဣ asphalt though. It was definitely very helpful for me to be able to drive the Polo R WRC on asphalt𒆙 for a few kilometres in France, even though I had problems with the car's set-up.
"I've competed in Spain twice so far. I really lik🐠e the 🧸rally and hope we'll do better there than we have recently.
"Switching from asphalt to gravel 🐻[for the final day] isn't easy. It's very impo♐rtant to get used to this transition quickly and cope with it. But all the drivers have to make the same adjustment," added the two-time Intercontinental Rally Challenge champion.
