Pirelli wil♒l be able to conduct an F1 tyre test next week in Bahrain, it has been confirmed.

As reported on wuqian0821.com recently, the test will run for three-days from December 17-19. However, while it had be🐻en thought it would be restricted to a few🍬 teams, this is not the case, and all were invited to take part, with six accepting - namely Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Force India and Toro Rosso.

The test gets the green light on safety grounds and is in part because teams were unable to run with the new 2014 prototype tyres in practice in Brazil ꦑlast month, scene of the final round in the 2013 F1 World Championship, as rain meant both Friday sessions at Interlagos were a bit of a wash-out.

The statement from the F1 Strategy Group and the Formula One Commis🥀sion reads:

"The F1 Commission agreed to a change to the 2013 Spo🌼rting Regulations, on safety grounds, allowing the Formula One tyre supplier to carry out a three-day test in Bahrain from 17-19 December, 2013. All Formula One teams have been invited to take part in the test and six have accepted: Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Force India and Toro Rosso."
