Motorsport's governing body, the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, has confirmed that Red Bull Racing's appeal against exclusion from the Australꩲian Grand Prix will 🃏be heard in mid-April.

Th꧒e team countered the stewards' decision to disqualify Daniel Ricciardo from second place in the Melbourne event, claiming tꦗhat Red Bull announced their intention to appeal immediately after Sunday's race in Albert Park, saying: that 'inconsistencies' with the mandatory FIA fuel flow meter had been a problem throughout the weekend, and had affected teams the length of the pit-lane.

Confident that the amount of fuel being supplied to Ricciardo's engine was 'in full compliance with t✤he regulations' despite appearing to ignore warnings from race control that the data being supplied suggesting otherwise, RBR is seeking to have its new boy reinstated to his podium position.

The FIA has since confirmed that the International Court of Appeal will sit to debate the issue on the morning of Monday 14 April. The hearing, which will take place at the FIA Salle du Comit? on the Place de la Concorde in Paris, will come too late to see the championship standings affected before either of the Malaysian or Bahrain grands prix - which take place back-to-back over the next two week𓃲ends - but could see the points rejigged, if Red Bull is successful, ahead of round four in China.

The FIA says that the court's decision will be published as soon𒉰 as possible after the hearing.
