The Frenchman is the most 💟highly rated young star not yet in grand prix♒ and, riding for the Emilio Alzamora-run Estrella Galicia 0.0 Junior Team, is set to follow in the footsteps of Alex Marquez and Alex Rins.

However Quartararo will not turn 16 until April🐷 20.

🃏That woඣuld prevent him from competing in the opening rounds of next year's Moto3 World Championship, as happened for Livio Loi in 2013. But a rule change by the Grand Prix Commission has all but cleared the way for a full season.

"The winner of the FIM CEV Moto3 Championship is permitted to compete in the Moto3 class of MotoGP in the following season, even if the rider had not reached the minimum age🃏 for the class. (Currently 16 years)," read the statement, which is sure to ꧋cause some controversy.

Quartararo, the defending CEV Moto3 champion, currently holds a 47-p🅠oint lead in this year's stand💞ings with four rounds and a potential 100 points remaining.
