Experienced Isle⛦ of Man TT rider Gary Carswell has died after an accident at a ꦺrace meeting at Jurby on the island.

The 46-year-old was taken to Noble's Hospital with serious injuries bad sadly passed aw👍ay despite the best efforts of medical staff.

Mr Carswell finished third in the 2004 Senior TT behind Bruce Anstey and race winner Adrian Archibald in o🌼ne of his best ever performances at the event. He also won the Senior Manx Grand𓆏 Prix in 1997.

Gary leaves behind a wife, Lisa and daughter Amy.

An investigation into the accident has bee⛎n launched.
