TT 2015: Hillier: We pulled it out of the bag

James Hillier produced his best ever performance in the premier class at the Isle of Man TT to clinch a stunning runner-up finish behind Jo🦂hn McGuinness in the feature PokerStars Senior race.

Hillier also joined the exclusive 132mph club after posting his fastest lap ever o🍌n the final circuit on the Quattro Plant Kawasaki at 132.414mph to steal second place from PBM Kawasaki's Ian Hutchinson.

The Bournemouth rider, who finished as the runner-up earlier in the day in the Lightweight race, said: "I just dug deep and pushed and tried to meet all the markers. It's overwhelming and I'm just made up, more so for 🐼the whole team because they worked hard this week.

"It was a massive t🦹eam effort and I can't believe it. I was riding the twin this morning and I didn't feel quite at home - I much prefer 𒈔the big bikes and I think that's showing.

"We're where we want to be now and we're back at t🌃he front but absolutely hat's off to John McGuinness there - h🔥e rode some race," Hillier added.

"The race pace this week had it all and it's been crazy and the whole barrier has just been moved up 🦂now. We weren't probably really on the radar before the 🌺TT but we definitely pulled it out of the bag in race week and we've had a cracking week."

Hillier also finished on the podium ♉in the RST Superbike race behind winner Bruce Anstey and Ian Hutc🍷hinson.
